Miss Jazz Mean

Meine Vorliebe für 60er/70er-Prog-Rock entwickelte sich bereits in meiner frühen Kindheit. Noch bevor ich selbst begann, dem Plattensammeln zu verfallen, bediente ich mich einfach der Sammlung meines Bruders – da war ja eh schon alles da. Naja, fast. Im Laufe der Zeit erweiterte sich mein Spektrum immer mehr in Richtung vollkommen abgedrehten klassisch inspirierten Prog-Rock-Wahnsinn. Als meine eigene Collection wuchs, startete ich los, die Plattenteller in diversen Wiener Clubs - und bis heute natürlich regelmäßig im Jetzt - rotieren zu lassen. Da ich seit meinem sechsten Lebensjahr selbst begeistert die Tasten quäle, bin ich besonders von imposanten Orgelspektakeln angetan. Virtuosen auf diesem Gebiet wie Jon Lord, Keith Emerson, Brian Auger und Vincent Crane zählen zu meinen wichtigsten musikalischen Idolen. Nach jahrelangem klassischen Klavierunterricht spielte ich mit 17 in meiner ersten Band. Einige Zeit später wechselte ich zu The Flow, stieg danach bei Music Apartment ein und gründete im Anschluss daran die One-Woman-Orgel-Combo The Mean Machine (deren Live-Debut übrigens im Jetzt über die Bühne ging!) und war als Keyboarderin der Tullner Band Die Eternias tätig.
